356 netted in Road safety operation
On Friday, March 28, 2025, the Directorate of Traffic & Road Safety conducted a series of operations, resulting in the apprehension of 356 individuals who failed to adhere to traffic rules & regulations.
– 121 drivers were found with invalid licenses
– 133 cases of careless driving
– 39 breach of operator licenses
– 28 dangerous loading
– 35 speeding offenses
“These enforcement efforts are crucial in ensuring safer roads & promoting responsible driving practices. We urge all road users to respect traffic rules & regulations to prevent road crashes & save lives.” ASP Micheal Kananura said in A statement.
