Butaleja: Ronald Mugoya, the Acting District commercial officer, has been summoned to appear before the RDC, to explain why Pdm and Emyooga have issues in Butaleja district.
Jimmy Nambiro, one of the Assistant RDCs for Butaleja, called forth Mr. Mugoya to present his defense tomorrow, following the allegations that pin Mugoya for having been supportive of the extortion across Butaleja district, in Parish development model and EMYOOGA programs.
Nambiro, addressing the journalists, today evening, said he was amazed by the numerous reports of extortion in Kayiti(Naweyo sub county), and Halanga ward(Busaba town council), as Ronald Mugoya stayed oblivious to the public cries.
Nambiro further stated that he will squeeze the Sacco leaders and LCs, whose books have imbalances in the accountability, and also warned the old Sacco leaders who are convincing the locals for another term of office by bribes.
According to Nambiro, some Sacco leaders are reportedly sacrificing a lot of money and goats to convince their subjects for the renewal of leadership in saccos of Pdm and Emyooga.
