Namisindwa district to re advertise vacancies of heads of departments

Namisindwa district local government is going to re advertise the heads of departments vacancies.

Early last month Namisindwa district local government advertised seven positions of heads of departments like District engineer, Production officer, agriculture engineer, district Planer, CFO,Principal internal auditor and district health officer (DHO).

The applicants were shortlisted and interviews were supposed to kick off early last week but they didn’t happen after people from the Ministry of public service who were supposed to interview them didn’t turn up over unknown reasons.

While speaking to our reporter today Sunday in an exclusive interview, Grace Watuwa Namukhula the district Chairperson of service commission says last week they sat as district executive and resolved to re advertise vacancies.

She says that they resolved to re advertise the head of department vacancies following the irregularities like shortlisted applications some had no enough papers, others were not having experience as required among others.

Namukhula adds that those who were shortlisted will not be asked to apply after the advert which is going to come out in news papers this week.
