Nkoma SS Shines in Bugisu Zonal Qualifiers wins two trophies

The Mbale City based school, Nkoma Secondary School has emerged victorious in the football girls and Rugby 7s in the Bugisu Zonal Qualifiers in the games played in Mbale City on Sunday 13th at Mbale City Stadium.
In Rugby 7s girls, Nkoma Ss defeated Nyondo Ss 51-00 in the game played at Rugby play ground in Busamaga in Mbale. Aranit Patricia had 2 tries, Mahhonge Mary with 3 tries, and Anirowoth Sunday Flora with 4 tries. Muyama Brenda converted 2 points, Anirowoth Sunday Flora (4 points), and Mukyala Zulaika was appointed as Most Valuable Player.
In football Girls, Nkoma Ss beats Bugisu High school 4-2 in final game played in Mbale Stadium on Sunday 13th after defeating the defending champions Highway Sironko on semi-final 2-1.
In the football boys, Nkoma Secondary School was to play against Bugisu High school in the final, after Nkoma beating Mbale progressive Ss in Penalties 4-2 after game ending 0-0 in normal time. And Bugisu High eliminated Nabumali High with 1-0 in semi-final.
Mbale progressive petitioned Nkoma SS on allegations of ineligible player and later, Nkoma Secondary School also petitioned Mbale progressive Ss for using impersonators.
In the ruling made on Tuesday 14, the Bugisu Zone Disciplinary committee led by Mr. Musaka Paul Buyera ruled that, Nkoma Secondary School was disqualified from Bugisu Zonal Qualifiers 2025 after failing to bring the document stating the document for the player in question was locked in an inaccessible room.
And Mbale progressive was banned for 365 days for fielding impersonator in the team. Bugisu High school will play Nabumali High school in the final which will be played at Mbale school for the deaf in Mbale District on Wednesday 16th April.
Three football boys team,and two girls teams will represent Bugisu Zone at National level in Ngora and Bukedea respectively.
