For twenty years , Bumumulo Primary School located at Zesui Sub county in Sironko District has been grappling with a severe lack of proper sanitation facilities which has endangered the health of over 900 pupils and their teachers.
The school has only six temporary dilapidated toilets, constructed from old iron sheets, whereby male and female teachers share.

He says the school’s only available toilets were provided by parents who erected semi-permanent structures in 2015 where they are even full.
Despite repeated appeals, the school’s administration says their cries for help have gone unanswered.
