Sironko NRM leaders endorse Lumolo as sole candidate for party Chairmanship

Sironko district national resistance movement NRM party leaders have today Friday unanimously passed Sulaiman Lumolo the current district party chairperson as sole candidate in the coming general party elections.
According to the NRM party road map, in July this year the party will elect its district party leaders up to the grass route.
The endorsement was today on Friday at district head office during the party consultative meeting.
The motion was read by Kasimu Masa the NRM party chairperson of Busulani sub county and was seconded by Ali Madoi the Buyobo sub county Councilor.
Later all the Leaders who came for a meeting unanimously agreed to the proposal and passed the move.
Dison Balayo councilor representing Sironko town council NRM says that Lumolo has been a good leader and has promoted the party’s higher levels.
He adds that it’s only Sironko district country wide with party head offices which were constructed by Lumolo using his money .
Kevin Wobaila the Sironko district youth champions says that they are not ready to loss such a brilliant and good person like Lumolo.
Sulumani Lumolo the Sironko district NRM Chairperson told the media after the meeting that he is ready to serve the party and the people of Sironko since they have entrusted him again.
He says he will make sure that the NRM manifestor will be implemented in the district full .
Early Florence Nambozo state Minister for Karamojo also doubling as Sironko district woman member of parliament has been speaking publicly as she is going to take on Lumolo in the same position during election to u seat him.
Over 300 house holds from disaster risk areas to be vacated temporarily in Bududa

Bududa district local government has identified 300 house holds to be vacated temporarily on Tuesday next week as rain continues.
According to Patrick Nabutanyo Kibeti the Bududa district acting information office says that the exercise will be done by officers from the office of the prime minister.
He says that house holds which have been identified are in sub counties like Bundesi, Nametsi, among others where the cracks of landslides have been sighted yet rains are continuing.
Charles Masaba Michael the Bududa district Principal Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Bududa says that they are going to relocate these people at nearby churchs,schools and others will be in a tent.
He says they are going to be resettled temporarily as the government plans to vacate them officially to Bunambutye resettlement area.
