YY Accident: Manafwa District Mourns Loss of Service Commission Chairperson

The LCV Chairperson of Manafwa district, Kosea Kigayi Kimono, has paid tribute to Jimmy Musimbi, the late district service commission chairperson, who perished in a fatal road accident in Buikwe district yesterday Monday.
While speaking to media this afternoon on Tuesday,Kimono described Musimbi as an unreplaceable leader, known for his hard work and integrity.
Musimbi had served on the Manafwa district service commission committee member before being appointed chairperson in October last year.
Kimono praised Musimbi’s dedication and commitment to eradicating corruption, which led to his elevation to the position.
The LCV Chairperson expressed the district’s profound loss, stating that Musimbi’s contribution will be greatly missed.
He says since he was appointed as district service commissioner Chairperson, he has done one recruitment and today Tuesday they had planned as district executive and service commission to seat and identify vacant gups to advertise in media for recruitment since then district in this financial year of 2025/26 get some wage.
Musimbi, is a resident of Bumufuni village , Buselenge parish ,Khabutola sub county in Manafwa district.He first served as government secondary teacher after retiring he was appointed as Manafwa district NRM registerer before being appointed on service commission.
