Mbale City Women Leaders endorse Hon. Lydia Wanyoto as Sole Candidate

Hon. Lydia Wanyoto today met with the Women’s League members who won the recent NRM elections from 12 sub-counties at her command center in Maluku. The meeting was a celebration of their victory and a discussion on the upcoming Division and City leadership elections.

In a show of overwhelming support, the Women’s League members endorsed Hon. Lydia Wanyoto as their sole candidate for the NRM Women’s Member of Parliament (WMP) Mbale City flag bearer seat. This endorsement sets her up for a strong run in the July 16th elections.
Hon. Lydia Wanyoto requested the delegates to rally behind her as she seeks re-election as the National Chairperson Women’s League (CEC). She promised to support the party’s electoral process by providing music systems and tents at the Division polling stations.
