Woman MP hosts the religious, gives them gifts, urges them to fight poverty

The Woman Member of Parliament for Butaleja district, Florence Andiru Nebanda, has on Tuesday, hosted Hundreds of the religious: Sheiks, Imams, Amilats and Reverends of the Catholics, Anglican and other community members, to appreciate them for their cooperation and forged ways to fight poverty.
The woman MP, in her speech called for unity and non segregation along religious lines, then promised to help her guests to access the government programs such as Parish development model, Emyooga, Women’s Livelihood Funds, to mention.
Hon. Nebanda, gave the Christians(Catholics and Anglicans), boxes of Alter wine 🍷, bearing 12 bottles in each box; and promised to donate some cattle to the Mosque, ahead of the Iddi, expected soon.
Nebanda, also revealed that she’s so far supported the Mosque with Qurans, and promised more good things if supported for the next election.
Sheik Mohammed Ramadan Muserengu, the Butaleja district Khadi, appreciated Nebanda, for her generosity, and emphasized that he who sacrifices gets a direct reward from Allah.
He called for Love for one another, and advised Ms. Nebanda, to refrain from the Politics of malice, including taming her campaigners for health politics.
Muserengu, also attacked Richard Mudehere, who allegedly extorted a number of people-money, on Saturday, in pretence that he was attached to the First family, but preached lots of words on empty stomachs which annoyed the hungry Ugandans at the Butaleja Booma ground.
The Muslim leader, regretted that he is one of the people who attended the foolery of Mudehere, and bore the witness that some angry citizens made away with the plastic chairs belonging to M.M Event service providers of that day.
He also testified that another politician, recently, fooled people including some religious leaders, when he organized a function with little readiness and failed to feed the visitors, or facilitate them.
Mohammed Zubair Haibala, the district Khadi of Budaka district, praised Nebanda, for her generosity and stated that she is the First politician to value the Muslims in a way.
He further said that the Muslims in Budaka district have largely been segregated in the government programs especially Parish development model.
Hadija Bint Musa, the district deputy Amilat, asked the haves to support the female Muslims to seek Pilgrimage, one of the pillars of Islam.
She also decried that a lot of men have abandoned their families, leaving their children drop out of schools.
At the same Function, Yossia Habagaya, one of the Aspirants for the Membership in Parliament, for East Bunyole, said that the guesture of Nebanda, to engage the religious in such a crucial meeting, manifested unity, and urged the natives to maintain the unity.
