Never attempt to touch anyone wearing a yellow T-shirt ; Muhoozi sends warning to NUP supporters

The Chief of Defense Forces of Uganda Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has sent a serious warning to the supporters of Uganda’s leading opposition party the National Unity Platform NUP.

Muhoozi warned that reckless walking or attacking NRM supporters would be a point of regret by the NUP faithfuls.

“Let NUP know that if they even walk badly on the road we will be there and they will suffer. If they touch a single Ugandan because they are wearing a yellow t-shirt that day they will weep! ”

Muhoozi last month warned that anyone wearing NUP red attires would be killed. He also warned them to abstain form wearing military related clothes.

Call for regulation of JAT operations

Members of Parliament including the leader of Opposition have called for the regulations of the operations of the Joint Operations Task Force JAT.

The highly trained and masked security group has been seen terrorising NUP supporters and NUP Kawempe North MP aspirant Nalukola Erias.

The matter has also been raised on the floor of parliament and speaker Anita Among asked the security forces to handle citizens with calm.
