Ambassador Abbey Walusimbi Hosts Iftaar Celebration at SAJA Islamic SSS Bukasa

Luwero: In a heartwarming gesture, His Excellency Ambassador Hajji Abbey Kigozi Walusimbi, Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, visited SAJA Islamic Secondary School in Bukasa, Luwero, to host an Iftaar event for the school community. The occasion highlighted unity, generosity, and the spirit of Ramadan.
Ambassador Walusimbi joined students and staff in breaking their fast with a shared meal of Goat Pilawo, a moment that symbolized togetherness and solidarity. During his visit, he expressed his commitment to returning soon to interact more closely with the students, emphasizing his dedication to building stronger ties with the youth of Bukasa Luwero.
The Ambassador praised the significant progress and development in the region and pledged his continued support for various school initiatives. These include providing sports equipment, cultural event resources, and academic programs aimed at enriching the students’ educational and extracurricular experiences. His efforts underscore his belief in empowering young minds to become future leaders.
Sheikh Muhammad Murshid Luwemba, Secretary for Dawah at the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council, accompanied Ambassador Walusimbi during the visit. Sheikh Luwemba encouraged the students to remain focused on their studies and to value the educational opportunities they have, reminding them that many others face challenges in accessing such privileges.
