Archbishop condemns night dances, urges Parents to take charge

The Archbishop of Tororo Arch diocese, His Grace Emanuel Obbo, has on Sunday confirmed a total of 1,469 christians of Mulagi Parish, Butaleja district.
The mighty Function, comes after 10 years since when the Christians of Mulagi catholic Parish received the important sacrament in Faith.
He explained that he delayed to confirm the candidates because of COVID19 pandemic which moreover halted church services.
The Shepherd, at the function, condemned the children and some adults who embrace night dances, arguing that it’s the fountain of evil, including careless drinking, false accusations, adultery and fornication.
The bishop said that people who go to dance at night have other temptations which are against the church teachings and emphasized for the need to welcome the power of the Holy Spirit in their hearts.
Dr. Obbo, condemned the practice of witch craft, and directed the Sheep to be Agents of envengalism to those yet un decided. He also strongly called for transparency in life, rebuking the acts of theft, adultery and deceit(telling lies). But urged the parents to take charge of their children for a better future.
