Arteta Furious as Arsenal lose at home to grant Liverpool advantage in title race

Arsenal on Saturday dropped three points at Home after loosing to West Ham United the the Emirates Stadium.

Bowen scored the only goal after landing on the perfectly set cross by former Manchester United right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the 44th Minute.

However Arsenal failed to grab an equalizer despite pushing hard with Trossard, Merino and captain Martin Ødegaard.

This was made worse as Lewis-Skelly was sent off 73rd Minute after a last man tackle on Muhammad Kudus subject to VAR review.

Arteta had was full of disappointment and roasted his players in the press for being incompetent.

Arteta: “I am very, very angry. Very disappointed. That was nowhere near the level needed to win the Premier League”.

“Congrats to West Ham but a lot from our side we didn’t get right. I never felt that we were at the standard and the level that we needed”.

Having lost at home, Arsenal sit 8 points behind leaders Liverpool who are at 61 points as they prepare to face rivals and Defending Champions Man City on Super Sunday.
