Assistant RDC fulfills promise to Budumba secondary school

Butaleja’s Assistant RDC, Godfrey Nasuga Musulemi, has contributed iron bars, worth 500,000=, and Nails, worth 100,000=, towards the construction of a laboratory, at Budumba secondary school, a project which kick-started on Thursday last week with a Fundraising drive.
Mr. Nasuga, the champion of the development of Budumba secondary school, who led the Fundraising drive last week, contributed worth 700,000= for the cause on the day of Fundraising and promised another contribution stated above.
He said that Budumba secondary school is largely populated, with good academic performance but has no enough structures to accommodate the learners, and with limited equipment for the science subjects. The commissioner, also emphasized that successful learning calls for sacrifice, hence his option to bring the parents on board for the collective solution.
Relatedly, Nasuga, revealed that he has secured scholarships for over 100 learners in skilling at Basoga Nsadhu vocational training institute, and at Kampala University.
Nasuga, is also remembered for his initiative of buying scholastic materials for the learners at Masanghe primary school, Budumba sub county, early this academic term. The commissioner says that the government aided primary school had deteriorated to the enrollment of less than 200 pupils, but they now shot to 700.
