Decorated Scientist Musenero to lead Museveni’s vote hunt in Bukedi

The Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Monica Musenero shall lead the campaigning team of HE. Gen. Yoweri Museveni in the upcoming General Election.

Minister Musenero has one more than one occasion declared that she has completely no intention to contest as a member of Parliament as it had been highly anticipated.

Due her activity in popularizing the Parish Development Model through Mindset Change and Productivity acceleration in Bukedi Sub Region, many attributed it to political interest in contesting for the Woman MP Butebo.

Many politicians had become insecure as they saw Musenero as a political giant who has come to take up their positions. However Musenero clarified on the allegations denying any intentions to contest on any political position.

“Am not contesting on any position, I can comfortably repeat that statement”. Dr. Monica Musenero

“When I contest, I will loose focus on the big dream I have to achieve with Uganda. As a scientist I really don’t have time to contest otherwise I will not manage to do what the president assigned me to do because then I would have lost two or three years in campaigns”.

The decorated scientist also noted that having political ambitions would hinder her wealth creation campaign as voters would now look at her a source of income rather than a source of Knowledge.

“In case I contest , I would be able to independently issue out my message. I would refrain from telling you the hard talk and yet you must listen to them in order to transform. But if in case I contested, you would say ‘We are waiting for you when you come back again’ So then I would be forced to talk what you want to hear not what your meant to hear”.

She hence rallied masses to vote 🗳️ president Museveni with overwhelming numbers. “My voter is one and that’s President Museveni, vote for him and he will vote for Me”. Said Musenero while addressing PDM Beneficiaries in Butebo in 2023.
