Dr. Arikod Amos and his quest for Eastern Youths MP

With the political atmosphere heating up day by day, several individuals have come out to express interest in different positions.

Dr. Arikod Amos is not exceptional, the man who has served the medical profession has decided to launch a bid for the Eastern Youth MP.

Born in Pallisa District to Rev Oseku Simon , Arikod went to Pallisa SS for O’Level, he later joined Mbale SS for his A’Level before joining Kampala International University for Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.

After his graduation, he has served the community as a volunteer Atutur Hospital in Kumi from 2023 to 2024 and Currently working as a doctor (junior house officer) at Mbale regional referral hospital since 2024.

In his manifesto, he hopes to empower the youths through increasing employment opportunities to the youth by empowering the youth to be job creators.

He also aims equipping the youth with necessary skills promoting talents through vocational training and increasing access to higher education to all youth equally.

Arikod also pledges Economic development through mentorship and increasing government programs that target the youth.

Being a medical Doctor, Arikod Amos says increasing access to health care services and creating awareness to the youth about the health dangers faced in the communities through health outreaches will be one of his priorities.
