Dr. Musenero voted NRM Chairperson NRM Butebo district; pledges to foster unity among NRM members

The newly elected NRM Chairperson for Butebo district Dr. Monica Masanza Musenero has revealed plans to foster unity and development among the party members in the district.
Dr. Musenero who now doubles as the minister for Science, Technology and innovation said NRM party members in Butebo have for long been disunited saying it’s now time to have a new chapter that intends to bind the mebers together for purposes of development.
Speaking after attaining her victory as the NRM Chairperson Butebo district, Dr. Monica Musenero Masanza the minister for science, technology and innovations said Butebo district has now a new blood of leaders that is set to prioritize transformation of party members in the district.
In a heated NRM party structures elections conducted at the district headquarters, the tight race between Richard Mugooda and Dr. Musenero ended in a 300 win for Musenero where as Richard Mugooda got 292 votes. Amidist excitement and ululations, Dr. Musenero commended her electorates for entrusting her with the mandate to lead the party at the district level.
Butebo district is one of Bukedi Nroth districts that are still grappling with poor service delivery that among others include, road infrastructure, poor health service which the party members expects their new NRM district chairperson to lobby.
Dr. Patrick Wakida who paased un opposed as the NRM Chairperson Kibuku district urged NRM membersespecially the youths in Butebo to prioritize income generation activities if they are to eradicate poverty.
Meanwhile. Dr. Musenero stressed that she is set to use her position as the chairperson NRM and exploit the recently designed Bukedi development strategic plan to transform lives of not only the Bakedi in Butebo but the whole Bukedi as a whole.
According to the NRM members in Butebo, Musenero’s victory as the party chairperson has brought hope for transformation not only among the NRM members but the entire North Bukedi.
