Forum for Democratic change (FDC) in mbale city has remained headless due to cross over of their leader. It’s well known that Hajji masa Musa who has been the Forum for Democratic change chairperson mbale city Last week crossed to the political pressure group National Unity platform. In his words as he was crossing to National unity platform last week.
Musa in his statement, said that he was rooted opposition but its now time to understanding the truth.
I have been supporting Forum For Democratic Change but now I have discovered that it has also been pocketed by the current leadership of National Resistance Movement so in Uganda now we only remain with two parties which are Nup and NRm.
Hajji Masa Musa being a former and a key mobliser in Mbale, he promised to convert hundreds of his following to National unity platform which has given the rest of the FDC leadership in Mbale city sleepless nights and this has amounted a lot of pressure to the remaining Members of FDC in mbale and It forced them to call for a short city deligates meeting and press conference as well to get the immediate solution before the party gets alot disasters.
In today’s press conference the city Forum for Democratic change delegates
called for immediate elections to gap up the blank spaces for Hajji Massa Musa before he converts his former party fellows to the newly said that he joined and the rest of the members who also left for the different political parties.
However the delegates have attributed the party confusion to Magrete Wokuri who is the party deputy president who has not wished the party well.
They caliam that whenever they try to organise party meetings and elections Wokuri blocks them
Godfrey wasukila the general secretary Forum for Democratic change Mbale city assured the remaining members of the party in mbale city to remain calm as they looks for the immediate solution.
Wasukila said they are not afraid of Masa Mussa’s departure because they party is open for anybody who wishes to enter and exit . However called Hajji that he is still free if he wishes to come since he has been a strong hold in the and a key mobliser.
Delegates issued a strong warning to the personal assistant to the party secretary Reverend Magombe Jackson stop moving around elgon Districts circulating fails information telling the public as the party fronts different candidates from different parties
We sported him in Sironk endorsing Nambozo Florence and we kept quiet and last weekend the same Magombe was seen on command post endorsing Lidya Wanyoto.
We as the delegates of Mbale City condemn such an act and distance our selves from Reverend Jackson Magombe
