Hajjati Hadijah Namyalo emphasizes patience for successful marriage as she graces colourful nikkah

This evening, the head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, graced the colorful introduction and Nika ceremony of Dr. Ziiwa and his bride, Miss Haula Kasai.
The ceremony was held at the family home of the bride’s father, prominent businessman and local investor Hajji Abdul Kasai, in Bugolobi, Kampala.
In her speech, Hajjat Namyalo urged the newlyweds to prioritize Allah in their union and to seek His guidance at all times.
“Let Allah be the foundation of your marriage,” she advised. “Pray together, grow together, and let His guidance lead you through every season.”
She further emphasized the importance of patience, mutual respect, and upholding Islamic values.
“You will face tests as every couple does, but remember that these trials are part of Allah’s plan to strengthen your bond. Always return to the Qur’an and Hadith for guidance,” she added.
Hajjat Namyalo also incouraged the guests especially the youth, to live by Islamic principles and uphold moral discipline in their daily lives.
“As we celebrate love and unity this lovely couple today, let us also reflect on our individual journeys. Islamic discipline is not only for special occasions but a daily guide for how we treat each other, build families, and serve our communities.” she noted.
The colorful event was also graced by the Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, who congratulated the couple and highlighted the importance of building strong family units grounded in faith and values.
“A marriage rooted in Islamic principles lays the foundation for a peaceful and progressive community. I encourage you to live by example and inspire other young couples to value love, responsibility, and spiritual growth and lasting marriages” Hajjat Kabanda said.
Meanwhile, Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director, Hajjat Sharif Buzeki also commended the two families and friends for organizing such a dignified and spiritually rich ceremony.
“This union reflects the true essence of Islamic culture and tradition. As KCCA, we support family-centered events that strengthen the moral fabric of our city. I wish the couple a blessed and fruitful marriage.”
Father of the bride, Hajji Abdul Kasai, expressed gratitude to all guests for honoring his family’s invitation especially Kampala’s top businessmen who attended the event in large numbers.
He spoke warmly of his daughter’s upbringing and the values she carries into her new home.
“Haula has always been disciplined, respectful, and God-fearing,” he said. “Today, as I give her hand in marriage, I am confident she will uphold the principles we instilled in her and bring honor to her new family.”
