Just in: Museveni arrives in his home village to oversee village structure elections
NRM National Chairman, H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, has arrived in Rwakitura Cell, Nshwerenkye Parish, Kiruhura District, to oversee the verification of the party members’ register at a village Baraza.
During the event, the President will also observe the election of the NRM LC1 flag bearer and the village leadership structure.
This exercise is part of a nationwide mobilization drive, with activities ongoing at all 72,000 NRM polling stations across the country.
Key attendees include the NRM Electoral Commission Chairman, Dr. Tanga Odoi, local Members of Parliament, and other party officials.
