Kawempe North; NBS’s Isano Brutalized, 3 NTV journalists go missing

NBS TV Photo Journalist Francis Isano has been hospitalized after being assaulted by security operatives while covering the ongoing Kawempe North by-election as reported by NBS.
Others including Canary Mugume claim to have survived beating from security operatives in Kawempe but revealed that some of the gadgets have been confiscated.
NTV also reports that Three of their journalists, Abubaker Lubowa, Raymond Tamale and Dennis Kabugo are still missing.
NTV reporter David Ijjo who survived arrest narrates that he had operatives being ordered to arrest whoever was putting on any attire with the word press.
David narrates that they were filming Mukiibi Sadat scene with a number of journalists, however on Sensing danger he asked his colleagues to dismantle their gadgets and hide them when a security operatives in rear instructed them to hand over their gadgets.
The were later taken to the drone but by good luck he was pulled by the onlookers who sheltered him until he was safe while his colleagues Raymond Tamale and others were taken in a drone vehicle.
Majority of the media houses including NBS, NMG, BBS had recalled their journalists back to station after assessing the situation.
By press time, the counting process of the vote had started and Nalukoola and Nambi are still the favorites to win the Kawempe North by election.
