Locals in Bugisu region urged to create good working relationships with police

The commissioner of police in charge of community policing in the country Anatoli Muleterwa has appealed to the people of Bugisu Sub-Region to intensify their partnership with the police in order to enhance efficient service delivery in the area.
According to Muleterwa , police cant be able to perform efficiently without the input of the civilian community.
While speaking to locals today Wednesday at Bunghkho sub county head office in Mbale district while sensitizing the locals on a wide range of security related issues. He also took them through the importance of The subcounty policing modal where each subcounty is to have a police station fully equipped.
Rogers Taitika the Elgon region police spokesperson says, this sentization is intended to bring services nearer to the people such that Cps becomes referrals of big cases.
He has asked the Subcounty L3 chairmen and Mayor’s to embrace it since they are the chief security officer of the subcounty policing modal.
