Butaleja: The daughters of the Henry Dambyo(R.I.P), in Bugosa, Butaleja sub county, have today morning stormed the office of RDC, to report their brothers: Moses Higenyi Kemba, and Michael Higenyi, for what they called “dis respect and land grabbing”.
The aggrieved elites, were led by Nalongo Deborah Hamba, the heir, into RDC’s office.
Ms. Hamba, narrated that she was officiated as the heir of her fallen dad (Henry Dambyo), in 2023, but has never enjoyed respect from her brothers, because they never supported her leadership for their home.
According to Hamba, her crown ship, was approved by Bishop Zebron Mujere of Pentecostal Assembly of God (P.A.G), and Eunice Atim (daughter to the deceased); because they had copies of Mzee Dambyo’s will.
However, Moses Kemba, their brother(Bunyole East MP aspirant), allegedly sent them a message yesterday, with the information that he rented out part of their land at a cost of 8 Millions without their consent. They further said that Higenyi, explained that he intends to use the rent for campaigns for Mpship.
The land in controversy is approximately 26 acres in a swamp, according to the aggrieved women.
Moses Higenyi Kemba, in a telephone interview, told East fm that he is begrudged because he refused his sisters to sell their Father’s land. He said that their father left a large piece of land intact, but his sisters planned to sell part of it to please their husbands.
Mr. Kemba, instead stated that he will allow his sisters to occupy that land in case they fail in their marriages. He, however, expressed the readiness to surrender part of the land for any of his siblings who would wish to cultivate on the land, but not sell.
Jimmy Nambiro, one of the assistant RDCs, who received the aggrieved citizens, vowed to follow up the matter, adding that he will effect reconciliation.
