Museveni concludes Bunyoro PDM Tour, urges all Ugandans to join the fight against Corruption

President Yoweri Museveni has urged all Ugandans to join the fight against Corruption.
While addressing masses during his last day of the PDM tour in Kagadi district, Museveni pointed out corruption as the major menace facing progress on the Country.
He urged the masses to fight against corruption especially in Parish Development Model.
“I urge all Ugandans to take a strong stand against corruption within the PDM committees. This initiative is yours to champion, and together we must work to eliminate anyone who seeks to undermine it”.
Museveni says all Ugandans must protect PDM funds at all costs. He also asked them to rightly utilize PDM and Emyooga funds instead of running to money lenders.
“Utilize the PDM and Emyooga schemes for borrowing to support development, instead of money lenders”.
President Museveni also emphasized the enforcement of free education in Government UPE and USE schools.
President Museveni has made several directives regarding corruption in PDM, Money Lenders and Free education in Government schools.
In December while in Mbale on Bugisu PDM Tour, president Museveni cancelled police bonds and court bail for all those found in corruption especially in relation to PDM.
He also directed that all money lenders return IDs to their owners or get their licenses cancelled. Wanainchi had reported that their IDs were taken by Money lenders and that they couldn’t access PDM funds.
He also directed RDCs and local leaders to monitor schools to ensure that their is completely free education in UPE and USE schools.
