Nkoma SS Shines in UMEA Games

Nkoma Secondary School’s football girls’ team is on fire! They’ve made it to the finals of the ongoing UMEA games, and it’s all thanks to Alomo Grace Atyino’s brilliant goal against Masaka SS at Ndeeba playground. The 1-0 win was a nail-biter, but Nkoma SS held strong.
This isn’t the team’s first impressive win – they previously thrashed Kinawa High 7-0, showcasing their skills and teamwork. Now, they’re set to face off against Kawempe Muslim in the final match at Namagabi SS.
While the girls’ team is soaring high, the boys’ team had a tough break, losing 1-0 to Kawempe Muslim in the round of 16. In table tennis, Nkoma SS secured bronze after a tough semi-final match against Mbogo Mixed.
But the real highlight is Namuwenge Florence Tondo, crowned Most Valuable Player in the girls’ category! Huge congratulations to Nkoma SS on their incredible performance. Bring it home, girls.
