ONC Boss SPA Hajjat Hadijah confirms Date For Mega Kampala Street Iftar

Kampala: The Office of the National Chairman (ONC), under the leadership of Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has announced plans to host a grand street iftar on March 20, 2025, in the heart of Kampala.

According to Hajjat Hadijah, the event will take place along Buganda Road, extending to City Square, bringing together thousands of people to break their fast in a communal setting.

“We are creating an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together, share a meal, and gain knowledge,” she said, before adding that the street iftar will be a replica of the communal iftars held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The event will feature preachers and speakers delivering messages on financial literacy, aimed at bridging the gap between the rich and the poor.

“All stakeholders who have come on board are welcome. It will be a day not only to share a meal but also to learn and empower ourselves financially,” Hajjat Hadijah explained.

She also revealed that the event is non-partisan and open to everyone, regardless of their political affiliation.

“Let us all come together, irrespective of our political beliefs. As we all know, poverty knows no political colors,” she said.
