NAMISINDWA: A devastating storm swept through Namisindwa District, destroying over 100 houses and crops in three sub-counties this morning on Wednesday.
The affected sub counties include Bukokho, Bumbo, and Bumbo Town Council.

He says a total of 57 houses lost their roofs due to the storm, which originated from neighboring Kenya.
Sam Buyindi, one of the affected residents from Bumbo Town Council, appealed to the district leaders and the District Disaster Management Team to provide support, such as iron sheets, to help rebuild their homes.
He adds that many residents have temporarily relocated to churches, mosques, and neighbors’ homes since their houses were destroyed.
