Over 2000 senior one and five students passed out in patriotism

The senior ones and fives students of Nkoma S.S passed over in the patriotism program, 2030 students in numbers were able to complete the training course for 7 days, at the event held at Mbale Ss ground on Thursday 10 March 2025.

This program was initiated by the president of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in 2009 and it has attracted government schools and it has imparted love to the students.
The resident City Commissioner Mbale city Ms.Nasike Asumin reminded the students to be mindful for their education and abstain from sex and live good life.
“Remind about your parents who brought you here,mind about your future,be determined and avoid such incidence that can force you in sexual activities which will cost your education and your life “.RCC Reminded.
He also advised the learners not to involve in campaign as it is the season because many youth have been used and dropped and this will make their life difficult.
The regional Coordinator Patriotism, m.s Namalome Betty Susan asked the school administration to make patriotism club the mother of all clubs in the school and asked the students to distance themselves with gambling, robbery.
She also said that, patriotism is fundamental element in changing people life and .
Madam Sarah Nansikombi the deputy head teacher in charge of Guidance and Counseling who represented the headteacher, said that,they have trained the students socially, economically to be better students and thanked the government of Uganda under the leadership of H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,ministry of Education the first Lady Mama Jannet Kataha Museveni ,Mbale City officials headed by RCC and also board of governors for facilitating the patriotism program.
“Students have the love for your country, school,parents, elders and your colleagues for the better future “.She asked.
Mr.Wamono Asidu the patron patriotism at Nkoma SS said that,during the course of training they have conducted several topics in line with the patriotism program and the students mindset hopes to be able to contribute towards improvement of their lives.
