PDM transforms Bugweri locals as ONC intensifies Monitoring

Bugweri: The ONC Regional Coordinator for Busoga, Ms. Kyanika Rehema, and the Regional Muzzukulu Coordinator, Mr. Kisoma Samuel, over the weekend visited Bugweri PDM beneficiary; Mr. Kigenyi Saadi, a resident of Busiimo A Village, Makuutu Subcounty.
During the visit, Kigenyi revealed that through the Parish Development Model (PDM), he received UGX 1 million, which he wisely invested in purchasing a female cow.
Kigenyi expressed satisfaction with his investment, noting that the cow is healthy and thriving, and he is considering selling it to buy more livestock, this time goats.
The ONC Team was accompanied by the Village LCI Vice Chairperson, Ms. Nakasango Lydia. They reaffirmed the office’s commitment to monitoring and supporting beneficiaries to ensure they maximize the impact of government programs.
With such engagements with the wanainchi at the grassroots, as it this guides communities toward making informed investment decisions that will uplift their livelihoods.
