President Museveni commissions Ankole skilling hub
President Museveni on Wednesday commissioned the Ankole Presidential Skilling hub in Kasheri Mbarara.
The hub is part of the nation wide campaign by President Museveni to issue skilling and free education to the youths to all regions of the country.
Museveni last year in December revealed that graduating students shall be empowered with equipment that shall help them establish their own enterprises.
Accompanied by the vice president Rtd.Major Jessica Alupo, Jane Barikye the state House controller, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, president launched the skilling hub that will change lives in the community to contribute to wealth creation.
“It’s good to see that these hubs are now including model demonstration farms which will teach our young people how to generate wealth from the land.
The students shall be empowered with skills of bakery, carpentry, building and contribution among others.
