Butaleja: The people of Napekere, Busolwe sub county, Butaleja district, are mourning 31 year old woman who died, survived by 2 children.
Caroline Awor, succumbed to death, following labour complications, according to the relatives.
Her husband, William Okumu, said that Awor(R.I.P), who was laid to rest today, gave birth a fortnight ago(two weeks ago), but stayed peace less until when the lord took her on Thursday.
With tears rolling along the chicks, Okumu, doubted the way he will baby sit the survivors, especially the younger who is only 2 weeks old.
Caroline Awor, at her funeral was described as an orphan whose mother Jane Namusisi, left similarly, several years ago.
Fr. Pius Omitta, a priest who presided over the Mass at her send off, consoled the mourners as he predicted that Caroline’s deeds will lead her to heaven. He also praised Caroline Awor as having been a disciplined christian, hardworking, and an academician.
However, Fr. Omitta, discredited polygamy, saying it is much embraced in Butaleja. He argued that polygamy causes practices of witchcraft, cursing and family conflicts. The priest, nonetheless urged the public members to always help the needy, starting with William Okumu(widower), and the 2 surviving children of 0, and 3 years.
