Ramathan: Muslims to begin fasting tomorrow

The Muslim community all over the world will start the Fasting of the month of Ramathan tomorrow the 1st of March.
Authorities in Uganda have confirmed that the moon has been sighted meaning that fasting officially commences.
Uthuman Mukwotte, the Iman Masjid Aqswa Namakwekwe in his summon asked Muslims to control their temper during the holy month.
He also asked those who have provocative characters to desist from them in respect of those in ramathan.
He also discouraged Muslims from over eating during the morning and the time of breaking the fast in order to stay healthy.
The district Kadhi of Bugisu Shk. Issa Masaba asked imams to seek more knowledge and also teach it to their subjects to better their religion.
He was presiding over the opening of Masjid Hidaya Namakwekwe which was renovated by residents and partners.
