Sironko Parents SS Celebrates Outstanding UACE Performance

Sironko Parents SS, a Sironko District-based school, is basking in the glory of its exceptional performance in the recently released 2024 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results.

All 32 students who sat for the exams passed, with 23 students achieving 3 and 2 principal passes, while the rest secured 1 principal pass with subsidies. This remarkable achievement qualifies all students to join tertiary institutions.

Mr. Malanga Yoffesi, Director of Studies at Sironko Parents Secondary School, attributed the school’s success to its students’ hard work. However, he noted that the school’s performance in Geography was below expectations.

“Compared to our 2023 results, we have declined in Geography, but it was a general problem,” Malanga said.

Nakayenze Piona, Female Youth Councilor for Sironko District, congratulated all students in the district for their good performance.

The top performers at Sironko Parents SS included, Madoi Sadamu, who scored 17 points in History, Entrepreneurship, Islamic Studies, and ICT,Makanya Paul, who achieved 15 points and Hon. Councilor Bugambi, a 39-year-old student representing Bugambi sub County, Bukyiti Town Council and Bunyafa Sub County who scored 11 points in History, Lumasaba and Divinity.

The school’s outstanding performance is a testament to its commitment to academic excellence.
