Spray operator survives beheading in Butaleja

Charles Mosso, a spray operator attarched to Butaleja town council Site, on Tuesday afternoon narrowly survived beheading in Hisega cell, Butaleja town council.
Mosso(survivor), narrated that he went to the home of a 28 year old Hassan Mwima, to spray against mosquitoes, in the on going In door Residual spray(IRS) exercise. Mwima, declined to open his house for the spray, because he missed Pdm, wondering what value the IRS program has.
Mosso(spray operator) insisted on convincing Mwima, when their negotiation resulted in a fight.
Mwima, allegedly picked up a panga, targeting Mosso’s head. Mosso, guarded his head by the hands and Mwima cut the sprayer’s fingers in the scuffle.
Milton Mwima, the Butaleja town council Site supervisor, says that they received 2 cases of resistance in the IRS exercise of Tuesday, in Hisega cell, and Nahigombe cell.
He further said that the resisters claimed that the Actellic chemicals used in spraying, breed bed burgs. Milton Mwima, however, said that he called forth the police for action and they managed to arrest one Hassan Mwima, for assault as the other suspect of Nahigombe cell, ran to yet unknown destination.
Charles Mosso, is undergoing treatment in treatment in Butaleja Health centre III.
Michael Hiire, the in charge of Butaleja health centre III, confirmed that Charles Mosso is undergoing treatment for the injury he sustained in the fight. According to Hiire, Mosso’s fingers were cut.
Butaleja’s District Police Commander, Jane Ayesiga, confirmed having the suspect in their custody.
