Uthuman Mugoya Declares to join NRM Secretary Race mbale city

The Director of Mt. Elgon Hotel, who also serves as the President of Mbale Sports Club Uthuman k Mugoya , has joined the race for General Secretary of NRM Mbale City.

Uthuman Mugoya, a Business man in mbale city has declared his intention to contest this this position to work and deliver for his people of mbale city.

He expressed his desire to contribute positively to service delivery in mbale city pledged to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of government programs and policies. He emphasized mobilisation for the party to the expectations in the city.

Uthuman also promised to foster good governance through the promotion of transparency and accountability in the administration and management National Resistance Movement in mbale city

But because of the leadership who wish NRM as a party should be theirs and their relatives which has led to the under mobilisation because the party leader joined with their intentions leaving out leaders with capacity to deliver.

We should be some how different this time if we are to change the face of our party expressed concern about the current state of the party in Mbale, citing poor leadership as a major setback.

Mugoya flashed a touch in the last elections and mobilisation for President Museveni in mbale city and discovered that there was under mobilisation which resulted to 30% of NRM i Mbale City, despite the government’s visible development efforts such as street upgrades and the construction of the central market, attributing this poor performance to internal issues within the city’s NRM leadership.

“The party is struggling because of self-centered leaders who are not working as a team to develop NRM in Mbale,” he said.

Declaring his candidacy, mugoya urged to party members for support.
