Whoever is responsible for not signing a striker at Arsenal MUST be held accountable ; Piers Morgan

Arsenal fanatic and football journalist Piers Morgan has slammed the way Arsenal did their business in the Transfer Window.
Despite high demand from the fans to buy a striker, Arsenal failed to add a frontman to their ranks but instead signed Italian Defender Riccardo Calafiori, Midfielder Mikel Merino and Rahim Sterling on loan from Chelsea.
Arteta opted to trust Kai Havertz as the main striker and Gabriel Jesus being the backup option.
But with Saka injured for three months, Gabriel Jesus out for the rest of the season by January, Arsenal were expected to sign a striker in January to back up their options upfront.
The main interest was in RB Leipzig Striker Benjamin Sesko and Newcastle Swedish Striker Alexander Isak. However they managed to sign none of them.
The situation of Arsenal was made worse with Gabriel Martinelli getting injured and as well Kai Havertz getting injured for the rest of the season.
After Arsenal’s draw with Nottingham Forest, Mikel Arteta admitted that there’s something missing in his side. “I know what is lacking is that piece up there”.
Arsenal’s draw with Forest means Liverpool win against Newcastle takes them to 67 points 13 points above second placed Arsenal who are at 54 points.
The title race is literally out of their hands and Piers Morgan says whoever is responsible for not signing a striker should be held accountable.
“I’d like to know who at Arsenal decided not to buy a new striker. Was it Arteta, or did the Board overrule him? Whoever it was has completely f*cked our season and needs to be held properly accountable.”
